29 October 2020: The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders on the basis that it considers this matter should not be the focus of the Scottish Government as it seeks to respond to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and the Scottish Government has confirmed that it will develop a written constitution should Scotland vote for independence in a future referendum. Written submissions

• Do you think all the component areas of the UK should pursue the need for a written constitution?

• What should be included in a written constitution for Scotland?

I have wanted a written, modern and inclusive constitution for all the Scottish people and not the few.
