Most suitable for teachers of P6 – S2 (CfE levels 2&3) but open to any interested teacher.
Led by staff from the University of Aberdeen and the Scottish Parliament Education Service, and using the Rebels with a Cause Jacobites exhibition as a focal point, teachers will take part in an imaginative workshop using techniques that can then be adapted for active learning experiences back in the classroom.
The day will also include a curatorial tour of the exhibition, a discussion with MSPs on the significance of the Jacobites to Scotland’s history and Scotland today, a tour of the Holyrood building and lunch.
