Calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to introduce community representation on boards of public organisations delivering lifeline services to island communities, in keeping with the Islands (Scotland) Act 2018.

No taxation without representation. Islander taxes help pay for the service. They are the primary users. The islands aren't an outpost or a central belt colony. A local voice in the decision making should be minimum requirement.

It is essential and important that local representation is available on these boards to contribute to decisions that affect island issues, needs, and concerns. Vital even to have a representation.
