About the Inquiry
The Education and Skills Committee will consider elements of the Scottish Government's Draft Budget 2020-2021 which relate to its remit.
In advance of the publication of the budget, the Committee wrote to the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills in relation to a number of issues and his spending priorities for 2020/21. The exchange of letters between the Committee and the Cabinet Secretary can be found below.
January 2020: Due to the very short financial review period the committee decided not to take any further evidence on the draft budget.
