2 March 2017: The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders on the basis that the issue raised by the petitioner was considered during the passage of the Marriage and Civil Partnership (Scotland) Act 2014 and the Scottish Government has no intention to consult or legislate on this issue in the current session of the Scottish Parliament. Link to Official Report 2 March 2017
