Working Pattern: This is a full-time post. Our normal working week is 37 hours but we currently operate a wide variety of work patterns successfully balancing lifestyle choices with business requirements. All requests for part time or flexible working hours will be seriously considered.

We are looking for a Project Support Officer within our Facilities Management (FM) Office. Our FM office provides a full range of building and estate management services aimed at ensuring the Parliament has sufficient and appropriate accommodation to meet its need. The Office consists of three distinct areas of work: Building Management, Service Delivery and Health and Safety. This post sits within the Project Delivery team who operate in the Building Management area.

You will have responsibility for the management and delivery of the FM minor works process. You will also provide support to the Project Managers in the creation and prioritisation of annual programmes and will support the financial administration of programme delivery. The role will therefore develop your project and financial management skills.

You should have knowledge of project management within a building environment and a strong understanding of the project delivery lifecycle. You will have experience of managing a budget and effective interpersonal and communications skills with a variety of stakeholders.
