Students on placement need to be supported financially or they cannot continue.

Student teachers work so hard to make sure each placement is a success. Not being supported financially is a serious concern and will impact on the amount of student teachers being able to complete the course successfully. Teaching can be a high pressure and at times stressful occupation. Asking students to work other jobs on top of a full time placement in order to be financially stable makes the situation even more stressful.

Studying should not be stressed out by having to work long hours just to make ends meet.

Assist student teachers to flourish while on placement , not worry about travelling costs !

I'm surprised this is not in place already, but fully support student bursaries.
