Do you think "professional" dog walkers should be allowed to walk an unlimited number of dogs at the one time in a public area (as is the present situation in Scotland) or should they be limited to a small number of dogs ?

Would you be happy to send your dog to be walked by a "professional" dog walker knowing your dog will spend more time in the vehicle than on a walk because the dog walker has to pick up and drop off an unlimited number of dogs?

If a walker has too many dogs they run the risk of the dogs being out of control.

All dog walkers should only be allowed to walk no more than 2 dogs at a time and if in local parks etc keep dogs on a lead.

Any more than 3 or 4 dogs is far too much for anyone to look after. I am a dog walker I mainly do solo walks and feel myself and the dog that I am walking at the time enjoys it a lot better as it's one to one, they have all my attention.

No unlimited number of dogs on a walk can be dangerous. Your dog would be receiving more attention in a smaller group.

My first thought was that it's up to owners to check out the dog walker's standards. But the dog walker can lie about their maximum dog numbers, and it would be quite hard for an owner to check, short of taking time off work and trailing the dog walker.
