Student nurses, midwives and student paramedics are all obliged to complete a 3-year degree, with equal hours of completed placements.

Do you agree that it is unfair that, despite these similarities, student nurses and midwives receive a bursary (of £10,000 from 2020/21) but student paramedics do not?

Very unfair!!

Student paramedics should receive same bursary because they have equal rights as other students in the health sector.

Why should paramedic students be treated any differently? We are all nhs students therefore should be entitled to an NHS bursary. Its hard to find a full time job while studying due to placement hours so we are having to support ourselves by taking out student loans.

I transferred from Adult Nursing, my passion to working in the healthcare industry gives me the motivation to not allow this unfair gap to succumb my career.
