• To stem abuses of power: under the suggested compensation scheme, public entities should not be permitted to refuse to settle those parts of a complaint which have been accepted by both sides.  Public entities may not use the strength of the public purse to drag out litigation.

• Potential conflicts of interest of legal advisers (declared and undeclared) to be made open to public scrutiny.  Failures to disclose potential conflicts of interest are investigated by an entity independent of the Scottish Government and related public agencies. Perhaps such investigation made a responsibility of an introduced supranational organisation.  Results of any such investigations to be made easily accessible; in order to encourage public scrutiny.

Transparency and accountability are words often used by Ministers. I'm pretty sure that everyone will agree that nobody should be above reproach when using a platform for defamation.

This is happening too often to be ignored, action is needed now.

I believe this petition is long overdue in order to have an honest insight into how the Scottish Assembly is being run and to ensure that applications for FOI are properly met.

SNP seem to get more money from the treasury than they have accounted for ie brexit planning what have they done with the allocation of 90 million pounds. Also emails not covered by FOI from the first minister why was this allowed.
