5 December 2019: The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders on the basis that the Scottish Government has confirmed that it has no plans to make the Scottish Police Federation subject to freedom of information legislation.   • Do you agree that the Scottish Police Federation should be required to comply with The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 to bring it in line with the compliance requirements currently in place for the Police Federation in other parts of the UK?
  • Do you believe that individuals should have the right to access all information held about them by SPF and other organisations?
  • Do you have experience of the issues raised in this petition? 

What have they got to hide ? PFEW has to comply so why not the SPF?

I am a serving Police Officer and feel strongly that the Scottish Police Federation DO NOT represent my welfare and need. The top ranks are a closed order and there is no way for rank and file officers to oust the leadership
