Calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to conduct an immediate review into the provision of insulin pump therapy (CSII) in Scotland in order to address the low and inequitable access across the country.

1 November 2011: The Committee took evidence from Jane-Claire Judson, National Director and Stephen Fyfe, Media and Communications Officer, Diabetes UK Scotland and Dorothy Farquharson. The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government and a selection of NHS boards (Fife, Tayside, Ayrshire and Arran, Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Western Isles and Shetland) seeking responses to points raised in the petition and during the discussion.
