20 September 2011: The Committee took evidence from Libby Anderson, Policy Director, OneKind, Liz Tyson, Director, Captive Animals' Protection Society and Dr Freda Scott-Park, Past President, British Veterinary Association and agreed to write to the Scottish Government, the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and a selection of local authorities (Dumfries and Galloway, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen) seeking responses to points raised in the petition and during the discussion. Link to Official Report of 20 September 2011 (501KB pdf)
